Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I would like to welcome you to our Parish website.

St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India believes in tradition that St. Thomas, the disciple of Jesus Christ, came to India in AD 52 and established the Church on the Malabar Coast in Kerala. We are an Eastern Church with reformed Doctrines. Our motto is, "The Word of the Lord and the Testimony of Jesus Christ." The church was initiated by 25 thousand laymen in Kerala, India with the commitment to stand firm in sound doctrine and evangelization. Now STECI has widespread churches around the globe. One of many churches around the globe is Philadelphia Parish.

The Philadelphia Parish was established in 1987 to fulfill the vision that God gave to our fathers in India. Till now, we have stood for that vision. What is that Vision? And that Vision is the aim of the church.

Sound Doctrine: We believe in all 66 books of the Bible, and that cannot be compromised in any situation. We stand for the right doctrine of the Bible, especially as Philadelphia Parish stands for Reformed Theology. We believe in the ultimate authority of Christ alone through his word.
Holy Living: We believe in Holy Living inspired and led by the Holy Spirit. We encourage believers to live a Holy Living in their daily lives.
Evangelization: We believe that every believer is a missionary, which means every believer is obligated to share the Gospel with every person in whichever way possible without diluting the Gospel.

The Philadelphia parish has so many activities. All are for the glory of the Lord and the extension of HIS kingdom. We have Youth Empowerment, Children to grow spiritually through Sunday School meetings, Believers Spiritual development through weekly prayer meetings, women's empowerment through Ladies meetings-to grow in the Christ as well as fellowship with each other, and Sunday Worship services in English and Malayalam (Indian Language) languages. In all these meetings we give more emphasis of Bible Study and its implication.

Our Parish exists for the glory of God and is fulfilling the calling of God. We invite you to be part of the journey of Philadelphia Parish till HIS Second Coming.
